QUEZON CITY, Sept 5 (PIA) — At least 30 people are participating in the 5th Water Search and Rescue Training this week in Coron, Palawan.
The training is an initiative of the Department of Health- Mimaropa under its Health in Tourism program.
More than three hundred lifeguards, hotel staff and swimming pool attendants were trained to do WASAR: DOH Mimaropa is targetting to get at least 500 for the region.
The training is conducted in collaboration with the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)-Palawan.
